Performance Beyond Coaching

Flexibility Beyond Stretching

From this page you will be able to see an example of an underwater videotape with some analysis. When you go to the video page you will download 44 frames of underwater videotape of Coral Blanco's complete backstroke on her left side. Click on the right arrow button below the tape to download each frame. Each frame will take a few seconds to load. Once all frames are loaded, you will be able to play them forward and back. The tape can be moved forward and back, frame-by-frame by clicking on the single arrow buttons below the tape. To go to the beginning, click on Start. To go to the end, click on End.

When a yellow arrow appears on the tape, look in the box below for our comments. To return to this page, click on Intro.

Keep in mind that this is Coral’s stroke before she completed her Somax program. In just five days she corrected all her stroke faults and reduced her stroke count from 16 to 11.

Next, go to Coral’s stroke count and race times to see her table and graph. Her strength and flexibility measurements are also proprietary and so can only be seen by password.

Since our methods of measuring stroke analysis are proprietary, you will not see them on this stroke analysis example. In our Internet Swim Stroke Analysis Program you will see your stroke measurements on individual frames, which will be e-mailed to you.
