Tiger Woods Masters Yips

Somax has found that Tiger Woods is fighting centrifugal force with his driver. Great golfers who did this in the past—such as Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and Lee Trevino—all found their careers ended by the yips.

This happened because fighting centrifugal force tears muscle fibers in the forearm muscles, creating tension and microfibers (scar tissue) that provoke muscle spasms while putting. Somax can release the tension and microfibers, but it is better to avoid the problem in the first place by placing the hands on the swing plane at address and going with centrifugal force instead of fighting it.

Tiger is not alone in fighting centrifugal force. In this video, we show other golfers at the Masters who may be also courting the yips.
